Headlight Issues
Here
are some easy solutions to a few common
problems
that people sometimes encounter
with headlights:

Problem #1
When trying to install a sealed beam type
bulb into a stock Lucas shell, the connector
does not fit.
There is an easy solution to this problem.
Order our headlight connector.
|
It is simple to wire.
(1 lead to high
beam, 1 lead to low beam and the last lead
to ground)
This part
will work on most 3 prong sealed beam or
halogen conversion kits.

Problem #2
Headlight adjustment on Sportster
or FX with extended fork tubes. |
If you
have a stock FX/XL headlight (the one
that bolts onto an aluminum housing
with one single bolt on top of the light)
and you cannot get enough travel to adjust
the light low enough.
This headlight bracket extender will easily solve
the problem and make your day.
You simply unbolt the stock visor, bolt the
bracket to the bike, then bolt the headlight
to the bracket. Now the light will shine
where it’s supposed to shine.
